Terms governing access to and use of Varcmail.
Using Varcmail
Varcmail is a business email client provided by Varcbytes. By accessing the service, you agree to these terms and confirm that you are authorised to use the mailbox and organisation account provided to you. If you use Varcmail for an organisation, that organisation may control the account and its data.
Accounts and security
Keep credentials confidential, provide accurate information, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. We may suspend access reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties.
Your content
You retain the rights you have in content sent to or stored through Varcmail. You grant Varcbytes the limited permission needed to receive, store, process, transmit, display, back up, and secure that content to operate the service. You must have the necessary rights and lawful basis to send and process content and recipient information.
Service operation
Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security, or causes outside reasonable control. SMTP acceptance does not guarantee final delivery. Features identified as not connected, experimental, or unavailable are not part of a service commitment.
Restrictions
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not misuse the service, bypass security controls, access another person’s mailbox without permission, send unlawful or abusive content, distribute malware, or use Varcmail for unsolicited bulk messaging.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties not expressly stated in a written agreement. Varcbytes is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by user configuration or third-party email systems, or content sent by users. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending use and changes
You may stop using the service at any time. Account deletion and data export may be subject to your organisation’s instructions and contractual retention requirements. We may update these terms and will publish the revised date. Continued use after an applicable notice period constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
